The Law Society National Property Law Conference 2023

Landmark Information are proud to be sponsoring The Law Society’s National Property Law Conference which will be taking place on 10th October 2023 at the Law Society’s historic main office on Chancery Lane.

The conference will give residential conveyancers and commercial property practitioners a chance to connect with their colleagues, learn from industry experts and stay up to date with the latest legal developments.

As part of the event, we are delighted to announce that Landmark Information’s Legal Director, Simon Boyle, will be joining the panel to discuss Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and Green Lease drafting, with a particular consideration on how ESG impacts corporate deals relating to property-owning businesses. The panel will also be sharing practical advice and guidance on the implications of MEES and what it means for your clients, along with taking a look into Green Lease drafting from both the landlord and tenant perspective and the new Green Lease Toolkit.

Aside from getting the latest insight on MEES and Green Leases, delegates can also expect to expand their knowledge on a variation of topics pertinent to property law, such as:

  • Climate Change risks
  • New homes regime
  • Digitisation of conveyancing
  • Leasehold reform
  • Retention in residential conveyancing

More details on the event and the agenda can be found on The Law Society’s website. We hope to see you there.
