An Introduction to ESG (Environmental Social and Governance)

Bristol Law Society in association with Landmark Information Group invite you to an online interactive webinar led by an expert panel of Professor Robert Lee, Head of Law School and Tom Venables, Senior Consultant,
Landmark Information Group; Tim Clare, Director for Financial Services, Anthesis Group;
Simon Tilling, Partner & Head of Environmental Team, Burges Salmon.

The session will outline the development of ESG, its rapid take up by the financial sector and the growing requirement for lawyers to advise on ESG Issues and to carry out ESG due diligence. It will also look at EU initiatives and the evolution of ‘soft’ law into ‘hard’ law.
There will be a short demonstration of the Risk Horizon ESG Due Diligence Platform for undertaking an ESG assessment
Plus a Question & Answer Session which will cover questions such as, how lawyers respond in practice to client requirements on advice on ESG and the various types of ESG standards.
